Before getting into any of the deeper or more complex issues to do with philanthropy, there are some basic questions we probably want to ask.
Such as:
-How do we define “philanthropy”?
-What motivates people to give?
-How do people choose to give?
-And why does this matter to all of us?
The short chapters in this guide will attempt to answer some of these fundamental questions (or at least explain why they are more difficult to answer than we might think!)
